The opening shot - is a tribute to my mate Nicky Penfound who took a tumble off Portwrinkle harbor and didn’t make it. Portwrinkle to Ramehead including the Whitsand Bay in Cornwall was an important location for my formative years as a shore angler. We all have our memories of starting fishing and here I begin by including mine complete with spark plugs for weights.. and that’s where it all began. From thereonin, we move around and begin the process of showing the viewer various tactics and techniques for catching fish from the shore. But it has to be said that it is a lot harder these days. “If you want to go fishing.. fish from the shore.. if you want to catch fish, buy a boat“.
