The Ballad of Seto Kaiba | Yu-Gi-Oh! Season 0 | Animatic (The Ballad of Sara Berry)(Trigger Warning)

If you are wondering why I took so long to return to YouTube it was because it took me a long time to make this video, I hope you like it. Sorry about the mistakes in the animatic, I kinda gave up trying to fix them. Story: The story is mostly linked with the manga. After Yami forced Kaiba to endure a punishment game he plots his revenge by creating an amusement attraction called ‘Death-T’. Death-T in the manga only had Yugi and his gang face off Kaiba’s goons, but in this AU Kaiba invites many people as players in Death-T, e.g Mai, Mako, Rex, etc. and the attraction is more similar to a duel monsters tournament, however, if you lose you have to endure a penalty/punishment game, which subjected you to a holographic image of dying, these images can be so detrimental to ones mental state that it can even make you go mad and eventually die. Kaiba is so desperate he loses his mind and surrenders his inner innocence (which is the scene with Kaiba’s younger self) just for the price of being number one, which results to many contestants, even his own brother, receiving a punishment game, but Yami saves Mokuba from the experience of death. Yami then goes to Kaiba to settle a score and they plan on dueling each other. Before the duel can commence Mokuba feels like he has no choice but to call the police for Kaiba’s crimes, the police then show up and arrest Kaiba and he was sent to a mental asylum. I hope that clears any misunderstandings of what is happening. Please keep in mind that I don’t own Yugioh, it belongs to Kazuki Takahashi.
