Jango Edwards and the FOOLS MILITIA 1

This year’s major theme will focus on the recruiting, training, and creation of a new unit of the special commando clown task force “FOOLS MILITIA”. The Fools Militia” is a revolutionary rapid deployment performing clown unit. The members of the unit are comic mercenaries staging absurd events of anarchy and animations. Their weapon, humor, their enemy the sad and oppressed from humanity. All participants will undergo intensive training to achieve the status of Fool Militia and on-call ready to be deployed in the city of Barcelona at locations such as La Ramblas, beaches, festival events, and theaters. As a Clown Performer, you will work with other professionals in an ensemble and relate to the audience in unpredictable and spontaneous situations. You will learn how to improvise and adapt in order to give the gift of laughter to an unsuspecting public. You will explore the role of the comic actor as a social warrior, laughter terrorist, and mercenary of humor. A red nose his armor, his weapon a smile, injustice, and tyranny his enemy on a crusade to confirm hope and promote global freedom. To some it may seem a cliche, “The world is a stage and each must play his part” but for clowns it is truth. This year ¨FOOLS MILITIA ¨ Masterclass . Dream Team Unit will be assisted this year by instructors and teachers of the . faculty, professional animators, musicians, and a selection of global clown artists.
