(This is a Bocher’s-Valentine’s-Brook and Walter-Jump rolled into one for the novice.)“ C/U of the artist engraving the copper plate. C/U of the engraved copper plate. The plate is then inked. We see the artist in M/S then a C/U of his hand as he uses a special tool to cover the plate with ink. The plate is then put through a press - we see a woman operating the press by hand, she turns a large wheel. The artist peels off the paper to reveal the impression. C/U of a woman worker pinning multiple prints from the engraving out to dry on a table. We then see the finished print displayed for the camera.
