Music from the Barren Wasteland: The Rejects were a San Antonio Texas based punk band formed in early 1980. They released one 7“ EP “Back to School“ on Closet records CLD-003 (considered by many vinyl collectors to be the “holy grail“ of Texas punk 45s), There were only 100 ever pressed. The Rejects (all between ages 15-17) played the legendary Raul’s club in Austin opening for famed punk bands the Dicks, Big Boys and Sharon Tate’s Baby amongst others.
