Concentrated as contemporary Highland dancers are on doing their best, it is sometimes hard to see that they actually enjoy dancing. Nevertheless, they definitely do, as you can guess from the name of this Scottish step dance published by Ron Wallace (California, USA) and performed here by Ruslan Kuznetsov, a Highland dancer from Moscow, Russia. The music used to show 4 of the 6 steps of the dance is from Michael Grey’s Leap ’n’ Rock vol. 2 CD (recorded to perform The Hebridean Laddie, the tunes being The Gay Gordons & Camerons).
Steps chosen and filmed by Sergey Alferov. If you require any further information on the dance, feel free to contact Sergey on scotstepdance @ .
