Mario Trailer #2 with Mario’s Original Voice

What if Illumination ONLY recast Mario to bring back his original actor, but left the rest of the cast intact? Illumination’s upcoming 2023 “The Super Mario Bros. Movie“ stars Chris Pratt, Charlie Day, Anya Taylor-Joy, Charlie Day, Jack Black, Keegan Michael-Key, Kevin Michael Richardson and Fred Armisen. While some have complained about Pratt’s performance, this video wasn’t created in an attempt to erase or otherwise deride it. It’s simply a fun “what if”, a sample of what “movie Mario” might sound like with Charles’ voice. It’s not perfect, since the only source material I had to work with were out-of-context clips from the games, but it gives you an idea. What do you think? Now that this mental itch of hearing this voice come out of Mario has been scratched, what’s your preference? I worked way harder than I should have on the ending by the way, 3D lighting is not my forte, so please watch till the end! And also, yes, for the love of all that is good, I KNOW
