Green Catbird / Зелёная птица-кошка / Ailuroedus crassirostris

I visited the Gorge Wildlife Park in Cudlee Creek in the Adelaide Hills today and on a walk through the large aviary, I heard this bird calling. I first thought it was a baby, then a cat. Then it twigged that the meeowing noise is the reason this bird is called a Catbird. Very strange indeed! Am South Australian born and bred and love where I live! I’m a photographer who gets out to see as much as there is to see, as often as I can.
