‘A Charlie Parker’

Scenes from the movie ‘A Charlie Parker’ introduced the #GucciSS19 show at Théâtre Le Palace. Shot in 1970, the 96’ film by experimental theatre auteurs Leo de Berardinis and Perla Peragallo—both featured in the movie—is a collection of references. Screened in small theatre rooms, the film’s title was a homage to the famed saxophonist and this generated misunderstandings: people came to see a theatrical show and there was a film, there were music lovers but the movie actually wasn’t about Charlie Parker.
