Walking in Flamengo Beach Boardwalk | 🇧🇷 Rio de Janeiro, Brazil |【4K】2021

Praia do Flamengo is located in the Flamengo neighborhood in Rio de Janeiro. Receiving the waters of Guanabara Bay, the beach has an exuberant landscape, facing one of the most well-known postcards in Brazil and in the world, the Pão de Açucar. The beach is quiet, usually without waves, which would be an invitation for those who like a peaceful bath without worrying about currents created by big waves. But unfortunately, the waters of this beach usually remain unsuitable for bathing, as Guanabara Bay receives tons of sewage every day, a sad reality in Rio that does not seem to have a solution. Cleaning the bay is technically possible, but the lack of political will makes the reversal scenario practically impossible. Well, but the beach can be a beautiful setting for a daily walk or during the weekend.
