The FSB of Russia for the DPR detained a resident of Gorlovka, suspected of spying for Ukraine. The detainee collected and transmitted information to the Ukrainian special services about the locations of units of the Russian Ministry of Defense for the purpose of subsequently inflicting fire damage on them. The FSB operatives exposed the suspect’s criminal intent and prevented casualties among Russian military personnel. The investigative department of the FSB of Russia for the DPR has opened a criminal case under Article 276 of the Criminal Code of Russia “Espionage“.
