New vision: Alexander Manotskov at TEDxSkolkovo

Alexander Manotskov Сomposer, author of instrumental pieces, vocal cycles, choir music and operas. Among Alexander’s last opera works -- Gvidon at School of Dramatic Arts, Moscow, Golden Mask prize for best experimental staging, Haugtussa, Stavanger (Norway) 2011, The Four Quartets (Waterfod, USA - Moscow), 2012. Alexander composed a number of music pieces to performances in leading theatres of Russia and Europe, cinema films (winner of Tariverdiev prize for best cinema music at Kinotavr festival in 2011 and 2012). He also works as a director, teacher, author of educational courses and master-classes in Russia and abroad. In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Confe
