3 decades ago, on Nov 22, 1991, the Super Speciality Hospital was inaugurated by then Prime Minister Sri PV Narasimha Rao in the immediate presence of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba.
During the 65th Birthday Celebrations, Bhagawan had announced in a public discourse on Nov 23, 1990 at Hill View Stadium that a state of the art hospital is going to be constructed for the poor and needy free of cost.
