Teaching advanced vocabulary effectively

Numerous books on methodology have been published, and copious online resources have been published to meet the demand. Very few of them, however, give practical guidance for teachers who work with higher levels, such as Advanced and Proficiency, rather concentrating on beginners. In this talk, we will be discussing recent developments in this complex area, elaborating on some of the most fruitful sources of lexis for the classroom, including books, dictionaries, and linguistic corpora.
