Lyon 2014 - 1000 mile road trip in Edwardian racers

Firstly, all you armchair directors... don’t leave a comment telling me I should have left the music off so you can hear the cars. With no bodywork to shield the mic it’s just wind noise once you start moving at speed :) One of the most exciting - and hilarious trips of my life. Driving all the way from the UK to Lyon in 100 year old cars to revisit the site of the 1914 Grand Prix. The cars were the 1904 200hp Darracq (an original land speed record car!), the JAP GN (a beautiful wooden chassis GN with an exceedingly rare V8 JAP aero engine), the Monarch (a special powered by a Curtiss Aero engine) and the De Dion special - also Curtiss powered. These are just a few silly clips which I managed to grab while clinging onto the car. For a fuller picture of the trip please visit the flickr gallery...
