Australia warned to stop sending weapons to Ukraine

A former senior US military official says Australia is simply causing more pain for Ukrainians and is risking a wider war by sending weapons to Ukraine. Prime Minister Anthony Albanese this week pledged an additional $100 million worth of “military aid“ for Ukraine’s fight against Russia’s invasion. But former Adviser to the US Secretary of Defence Colonel Douglas Macgregor told Sky News the weapons won’t stop Russia’s advance, and Australia should instead be pushing for peace.
