Synopsis: Nate is a popular guy at high school, who is in a relationship with Maddy. They are constantly fighting and breaking up, so Nate keeps “cheating“ her with Beth, who is the new girl. Justin is also a popular guy who has a crush on the girl, they usually keep talking/texting. Beth has feelings for Nate and obviously wants more but the guy doesn’t. The situation deteriorated during a debate when Nate treated her violently. The girl promised Nate she won’t tell anybody what happened because of her feelings but deep inside she knew it wasn’t the right choice. Justin noticed her bruises, he put the pieces together in his head then decided to help her by threatening Nate. This plan suddenly backfired after Nate confronted Justin with his dr*g addiction/business, saying he will tell the cops everything which will ruin his life. Justin took a few steps back but after he gets a text from Beth, he decided to help her either way. They went to the police station and told them everything. They knew it would cause a big trouble and Nate would take a revenge on them, so they att*cked/beat him. Beth eventually realised that this will never end, it probably won’t be enough for Nate and he would eventually hurt Justin or her even more, so she withdrew her statement for fear.
