3D reconstruction of printed neural tissue (15 days post-printing). The 50 μm-thick tissues have multiple cell layers depicted with a “green-red” layered pattern. Printed cells remain in designated areas, while neurons extend processes within and across layers. This stable structure allows neural progenitors to mature and form neural networks.
