Doug de Vries plays his own arrangement of ’Stella by Starlight’. Doug is playing an Altamira concert guitar. “Stella by Starlight - an example of how well the guitar can move across genres and create a pathway of its own, here the main theme is set in G major with an improv to follow. Here I try to maintain a self contained performance with melodic lines punctuated by chords and rhythmic swing.
