Kristina Miller plays Alexander Rosenblatt Sonata ’Kristina’ Kristina Miller piano Franz Schaden video Wavegarden Austria Sonata Nr. 4 ’Kristina’ was composed in Moscow by russian composer Alexander Rosenblatt. His love for classic and jazz connected him with russian-german pianist Kristina Miller, who also has a passion for it. Sonata ’Kristina’ was dedicated and written by Alexander Rosenblatt specially for Kristina and it was a very inspiring process for them to prepare this piece together for recording. Rosenblatt studied piano and composing at the Moscow Conservatory from 1975 to 1982 with Pavel Messner and Karen Khachaturian. From 1983 to 1990 he gave lessons at the Gnessin Institute in Moscow. Since then he is working as a freelance composer and pianist. Rosenblatt has composed music for piano, cello, chamber orchestra and symphony orchestra. His compositions range from classical music to crossover and jazz. In 2011 he got a contract with Schott Music
