Game Recap: Penguins vs. Rangers () | Redemption

After a very disappointing outing against the Rangers in New York just two days ago, the Penguins were looking to bounce back. They did. Radim Zohorna scored the first goal of the game (the second goal of his NHL career) with a power move going towards the net. The Rangers answered back early in the 2nd on the power play, but Letang and Rodrigues would go on to both tally in the middle frame, increasing Pittsburgh’s lead. Chris Kreider had a penalty shot opportunity, but Tristan Jarry turned that aside, like he had most other Rangers’ shots in this game. Jason Zucker earned a goal midway through the final period, and while New York scored one more, Mark Jankowski capped things off with the empty netter.
