Ayo Ayoola-Amale, Ghana. Dr. Ayo Ayoola-Amale is a Nigerian poet, lawyer, educator, lecturer and declamator. She was born in 1970 in Jos in Nigeria, and lives in Ghana. Ayo Ayoola-Amale works for peace and disarmament as an ambassador for Africa within the framework of the Global Partnership for Harmony. She is also the president and founder of the Women’s International League for Peace and Freedom (WILPF) section of Ghana. She is the creator of the Splendors of Dawn Poetry Foundation. With another Nigerian poet and writer Diego Odoh Okenyodo, she co-founded the Poetry Prize in West Africa in 2013. She is also the organizer of the movement in Ghana of 100 thousand poets for change.
