Today we want to introduce you to the wonderful Russian artist Nella Genkina, who devoted all her work to the glorification of Russia and the popularization of the history of ancient Rus’. Nella Genkina was born in Perm into a family of teachers who instilled in her a love of knowledge and art. After graduating from the Faculty of Physics of the Nizhny Novgorod State University, she taught physics at the university for 7 years. Then Nella Alexandrovna worked as a researcher at the Gorky Research Institute of Physics and Technology, researching the optical properties of thin films. Received a PhD in Physics and Mathematics for her work on the effect of ion implantation on the structure and optical properties of films. In parallel with her scientific activities, Nella Genkina developed her skills in the field of painting. She was educated as an artist, studied at the Nizhny Novgorod Art School and the workshops of teachers at the Academy of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture, as well as at the Stroganov Art School. Her work contains many seascapes, historical portraits, ancient Slavic mythology and Orthodox motifs. The works have been presented at numerous exhibitions both in Russia and abroad, including France, Israel and the Philippines. The work of Nella Alexandrovna Genkina is distinguished by the use of three-dimensional compositions, Fibonacci patterns and the principles of the golden section. She considers it her main task to create by inspiration, conveying beauty and joy to people. Today, Nella Genkina lives in Moscow, continues to paint and participates in exhibitions, being a member of the Creative Union of Artists, the International Art Fund and the Eurasian Art Union.
