Israel’s military leaves Gaza’s largest medical centre completely destroyed

Palestinian journalist, Mahmoud Abusalama, reported from inside the grounds of al-Shifa medical complex on Monday and described the scenes shortly after the Israeli army ended its siege and withdrew. He showed how various parts of the complex were largely destroyed and that they found dead and dismembered bodies in the ruins of the hospital. Gaza’s civil defence said in a statement that around 300 people were killed in al-Shifa hospital and its vicinity in Gaza City following the Israeli army’s two-week-long operation in the area.
