Talk Talk - It’s My Life - Cover Reconstruction

Here’s a new Cover Re-construction. This is the first time I’ve used a keyboard pitch wheel in any constructive way. Turns out, there is no way to do this tune justice without the pitch wheel. The iconic bending horn sound has a majestic feel that is integral to the song. And it was fun to play. Here is: Talk Talk: It’s My Life (1984). I sampled some seagull sounds from YouTube to get the wild animal noises. Plus, I didn’t realize how hoppin’ this bass line was. It is constantly in motion. Also, sadly, I discovered that Talk Talk’s lead singer passed away last year. RIP Mark Hollis.
