「ロックマンX」Rockman X Playthrough (JP, English Translation) - Part 1, Icy Penguigo

Let’s continue. After the Central Highway Stage (Intro Stage), we get to the Stage Select. So, you might ask, “Who’s the easiest Irregular to beat?\What’s the easiest stage?“. If you haven’t notice yet, in X1, X doesn’t have the ability to Dash right from the very start. He’ll get that ability in the later games as a default skill in his moveset, but for the newfags like me it’s really hard to play through this game without... y’know... going fast. And the Capsule in this stage can’t be avoided anyway, unlike the remake of this game. More on that in IHX’s Noumander’s Stage. So Icy Penguigo it is! This stage is probably the easiest one in this entire game. The only troublesome moment here is with Ride Armor section as it can’t dash after jumping which might result in falling in the pit and dying. Before this attempt, I had the other one, but because I record it all off the emulator and I’m dumb, the footage got ruined as I forgot to turn on “hide cursor“ fuction in OBS. Although I’m actually grateful that I needed to re-record it. This’s my best attempt and I actually only messed up in two spots: in the very beginning, when that stupid second lumberjack repliroid attacked me before I’ve charged the buster, and right before Penguigo as those snowball-throwing mechaniloids caused some trouble too, though it wasn’t that bad, even if I was sometimes acting dumb. And I didn’t get the item in this stage. You need Noumander’s weapon for that. I might record me getting the missed items in the future, but that’s not nessesary, I think. I’m impressed with killing the first boss in this game (well, the first for me, at least) without even getting damaged. Usually, even if I know for sure what the boss will do, I get hit at least once. That’s my personal record of not messing up and I’m happy! ^.^ #MegaManX #RockmanX #MegaManX1 #ロックマンX
