Michael Nesmith First TV Appearance Until It’s Time For You To Go (RIP)

Michael Nesmith died on December 10, 2021. Known early in his career as “Michael Blessing“, his first TV appearance was on The Lloyd Thaxton Show in 1965, broadcast in 1966. He sings his new Colpix Records single Until It’s Time For You To Go, followed by a brief interview by the Los Angeles pop music television program’s host. Nesmith was later cast as a member of The Monkees, along with Mickey Dolenz, Davy Jones, and Peter Tork, until 1970. The Monkees television series aired on NBC from 1966 until 1968. Nesmith died from heart failure at his home in Carmel Valley, California, on December 10, 2021, at the age of 78. Dolenz memorialized Nesmith as “a dear friend and partner.“
