Call Of The North EP 03 | Autumn in Scandinavia

In this episode the dark season begins in the North. As we journey through the breathtaking scenery of Northern Norway, Sweden and Finland autumn colors arrive to the landscape. Starting on the Lofoten Islands, we venture further North towards Trømso and the Lyngen Alps where we find atmospheric fog-clad forests, towering glaciers and cozy mountain huts. Leaving Norway behind, we find ourselves in the heart of Swedish Lapland to hike out into the wilderness to find a remote valley with vibrant autumn colors and gaze at the seasons first show of Aurora, the Northern Lights! In Finnish Lapland we experience mesmerizing sunrises on glassy lakes and moody forests with fog wrapping around the treetops. Ending up on the Lofoten Islands again, we hike out to enjoy the last bit of sun, before the North goes into the polar night. From here we embark on a lengthy drive southward, spanning almost 3,000 km back to Germany. Here we prepare for another trip North, to experience a real arctic winter! Stay t
