🔷 Learn how to make videos like this:
What is microlearning? The microlearning method is an approach to skill acquisition that uses small learning units instead of long-form content. Microlearning is also called “bite sized learning“ or “just in time learning“.
These years, this concept is trending within e-learning, corporate training and education in general. The reason? A rise in digital devices, fast internet and a want to learn the same way we consume media elsewhere.
Microlearning is an effective method of consuming learning content as we can’t hold on to much more than 5 to 9 facts at a time anyway. This just-in-time principle let’s us learn a little at a time, more often.
A best-practice piece of microlearning content should be digital, mobile, searchable and useful in itself. Similar to this video - a standalone piece of information delivered digitally—just in time.
If you want to learn how to create microlearning content yourself, I teach the skill set in a course consisting of micro lessons in script writing, voice-over and animation.
