.The Thrill of Pangi: India’s Most Dangerous Tour. Pangi Valley is a remote, poorly developed tribal area in the Chamba district of Himachal Pradesh, India. It’s located at an elevation of 11,000 ft on the banks of the Chadrabhaga river. The valley is divided into five valleys: Saichu, Hudan Bhatori, Anch Chaloli, Sural Bhatori, and Bhatories. The tribal people of Pangi are called the “Pangwal“. The high altitude villages are called Bhatories, and the residents are called “bhots“. Most of the residents are Buddhists with Tibet-Mongolian features.
