Nirvana - Rape Me | Guitar and Bass Cover |

“It’s a anti, let me repeat that, ANTI rape song.“ - Kurt Cobain talking about this song in a fall 1993 interview with MTV. Covering the controversial fourth track on Nirvana’s In Utero: Rape Me Using my gorgeous 1995 Fender Jag-Stang. The Jag-Stang is the guitar Kurt Cobain personally designed with Fender. He cut in half pictures of a Jaguar and Mustang, pasted them together and said to Fender “Bulid this.“ Mods to my Jag-Stang: Seymour Duncan Invader humbucker, Fender Texas Special neck pickup and locking tuners. For bass, I am using my Ibanez Black Eagle 40th Anniversary reissue. Krist used a Black Eagle throughout Nirvana’s entire career, especially in the Bleach era. Both were recorded with my Avid Eleven Rack. I am making presets for each song’s clean and distorted tones for both the guitar and bass, trying to match the album tones as close as I can. Recorded with the actual album multi-tracks in Pro Tools. Follow me on instagram at @nirvanaguitars Check out my progressive punk band at Check out my acoustic project at
