Alien - Synopsis

“Alien“ is a science fiction horror film directed by Ridley Scott and released in 1979. The movie follows the story of the commercial spaceship Nostromo and its crew, who encounter a deadly extraterrestrial creature. The crew members of the Nostromo, including warrant officer Ellen Ripley (played by Sigourney Weaver), are awakened from their hypersleep when their ship receives a distress signal from a nearby moon. Obligated to investigate, they land on the moon and discover a derelict spacecraft with a chamber full of mysterious eggs. During the exploration, a facehugger creature attaches itself to one of the crew members, Kane (played by John Hurt). Eventually, the creature detaches and Kane appears to be fine, but later, a horrifying creature known as a Xenomorph bursts out from his chest, quickly growing into a fully formed, highly aggressive and lethal creature.
