Live: Widespread street flooding in New Orleans

Sustained downpours during the Wednesday morning commute have caused multiple streets to flood around the city and prompted a flash flood warning. The National Weather Service’s flash flood warning for parts of Orleans and Jefferson parishes has now been extended until 10:45 a.m. Forecasters say Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms capable of producing heavy rain across the area.
