A perfect addition to any garden, Rhoeo discolor Compactum, commonly known as Moses in the Cradle, is an evergreen, semi-succulent, clump-forming perennial. Grown for attractive dark leaves with purple undersides. Rhoeo makes an ideal groundcover, rockery, or used as a border as well as a great ornamental plant or just grown in a separate container or trough. Requires minimal attention. Prefers well-drained, moderately fertile soil in full sun to partial shade. Grows 30-40 cm wide and reaches a height of 40 cm.
