Plasmatics - Tight Black Pants (CBGB, NY June 9, 1979)

The song “Tight Black Pants“ was the opening song in the Plasmatics set for most of their earliest shows. This early video shot at the legendary CBGB in June of 1979 shows the mobs lined up outside the club when the band played often 4 nights in a row, 2 shows a night, and all sold out. Although the quality of the sound is not the best on this rare early footage, the power of the band, now a four piece with the addition of Wes Beech (drum riser left hidden mostly by the sound system) is easy to hear. In 1979 the Plasmatics brought more people into CBGB than any other band.
