Lightning Fingers (1926)

Title reads: “Introducing Mr Billy Mayerl the famous Solo Pianist of the Savoy Havana Band“. Billy sits at a small pianolette and plays. Because Billy plays so fast it is difficult for “recorders“ to see how many keys he strikes. This is where Pathe’s slow motion camera can help.“ Shot from behind Billy as he plays in slow motion, then a shot from the side. C/U of hands playing in slow motion and mid shots of Billy playing and smiling at the camera. Was probably an Eve’s Film Review item from issue 233. Safety print only.
