Nirvana - Heart-Shaped Box | Guitar and Bass Cover |

Covering In Utero’s lead single, the classic Heart-Shaped Box. Using my Eastwood Univox Hi-Flyer Phase 4. This model is a replica of the Univox Kurt Cobain used in the Heart-Shaped Box music video. Kurt wanted to use his Competition Mustang in the music video, but he couldn’t find it so he used his white Univox instead. It later turned out that that mustang was under his bed! For bass, I am using my Ibanez Black Eagle 40th Anniversary reissue. Krist Novoselic used a Ibanez Black Eagle throughout Nirvana’s entire career, especially in the Bleach era. Both were recorded with my Avid Eleven Rack. I am making presets for each song’s clean and distorted tones for both the guitar and bass, trying to match the album tones as close as I can.
