European Weightlifting Cup Gala | 1987 | Taranenko’s 270kg attempt!

30 years before... (2nd) European Weightlifting Cup Gala was hold in Diósgyőr (Miskolc, Hungary) . It was a team championships between Soviet Union - Bulgaria - Hungary (romanian athletes didn’t come to the competition), each team competed with 4 members (except Soviet Union - Militosyan were ill). Really worth to watch it, includes such as things like Angel Genchev’s WORLD RECORD with 170kg @75kg (he also had a wr attempt in c&j with 212,5kg). Teodosiev (BUL, 90KG) made two wr c&j attempt with 234kg AND as you can see at cover picture; there were also Leonid Taranenko (URS, 110KG).
