A seal was rescued in Sakhalin with a plastic pipe around its neck

A pipe nearly killed a seal. The animal got trapped about two years ago. Animal rights activists freed it. The seal was not scared and approached the rescuers on its own. Marine animals in Sakhalin, Russia, often die due to plastic waste. Without human help, they can’t remove nets or rings from themselves.
