Medieval covers and remakes of existing modern music. However I’m not completely committed to the pure Bardcore style if you can even call it that way. I’m willing to break the genre rule a bit, in order to achieve (at least for me) a better sound. But at the same time, it’s not too far off from the corresponding time period. I would describe my approach more as some kind of a Renaissance or even baroque period style cover. Medieval but with an upper limit in the baroque era. Dependent on the song. However, most of the time I just like to add a little epicness to it. Maybe one can call it BardcoreDeluxe. BardcorePlus? I have no idea and it doesn’t really matter. Let’s keep it simple... Take music/songs and make them “old-timey“ through Medieval and Renaissance inspired instruments. The source music can be from Movies (Soundtracks | OST), TV Series (Themes | Tunes), Games or Songs in general.“ ▻ Medieval / Renaissance, Bard / Tavern / Inn / Fantasy / RPG / D&D © Copyright: ▻ Written & composed by Debbie Harry & Giorgio Moroder ▻ Copyright: Debbie Harry & Giorgio Moroder ▻ Thumbnail: Painting from a book by Giovanni Boccaccio (1st quarter of the 15th century / France) 📜 Trivia: “The song is based on the singer’s sensual and material relationship with the addressee. It can be said that Blondie is taking on the role of a working girl. And the title is fundamentally indicative of her being on 24-hour call to fulfill her clients’ needs. But interesting to note is that “Call Me” was actually written for a film, “American Gigolo” (1980), which centers on a male counterpart. Even though the lyrics aren’t overly-explicit, the female singer is letting the addressee know that she is in fact available for intimate rendezvous. And in the process, even though it can be deemed as a subtheme, the listener can also detect that money is an important part of their relationship. Call Me was the most successful of all Blondie singles in their native USA, where it was the best-selling single of 1980. European disco producer Giorgio Moroder wrote this with Blondie lead singer Debbie Harry, who thus became the first woman in British chart history to write three #1 hits. However she wasn’t Moroder’s first choice. The Italian disco king had originally wanted Stevie Nicks to provide vocals on the track but the Fleetwood Mac vocalist declined the offer.“ ----------- Support this Channel: - 1) Watch the Videos 🎥 & Listen to the Songs 🎧 - 2) Leave a Like 🧡 - 3) Leave a Comment ✍ - 4) Subscribe to the Channel 🚨 - 5) Share 📲 PORTEGO on music streaming services: - 🎧 Spotify: - 🎧 Apple Music: - 🎧 Amazon: - 🎧 Deezer: - 🎧 YouTube Music: PORTEGO on social media: - Instagram: - Twitter: ----------- ► Enjoy ► Thank you for watching and your support #PORTEGO #blondie #bardcore #medieval #Renaissance #RenaissanceMusic #medievalmusic #DebbieHarry #cover #dndmusic #callme #music #BardcoreDeluxe #Tavernwave
