Bulldog, who included a couple of former Young Rascals in drummer Dino Danelli & guitarist Gene Cornish, enjoyed a Top 10 hit around Australia with “No“, a great showcase for vocalist/bassist Billy Hocher’s Joe Cocker-ish vocals, and taken from their self titled LP which also became a Top 10 album down under. But disappointingly they remained virtually a secret to the rest of the world as this debut set in particular, despite sinking without a trace in the US, was a great showcase of the band’s diverse, but mostly hard rocking abilities
