UNICEF: Gaza has become a graveyard for children

In a press briefing held in UNICEF headquarters in Geneva, Switzerland, James Elder, UNICEF spokesperson, mentioned how Gaza has “become a graveyard for children“ and a “living hell“ for others due to the ongoing Israeli aerial bombardments that began on October 7. He highlighted that the cutting off of water by the Israeli forces will lead to child and infant deaths due to dehydration. He also emphasised that the trauma on children will be a lasting burden on generations to come.
