Mark Lettieri: Freaky Loop OR Music Store Soundscape?

You know the sound when you walk into a crowded music store? The iconic riff of Smoke On The Water contrasting the delicate intro of Stairway To Heaven, blending with the distinct chord progression from Wonderwall, almost (but not entirely) masking the recognizable double stops from Little Wing, juxtaposing the theme from Sweet Child O’ Mine in a cacophony of mixed tonality, tempo and genre. That sound. Mark Lettieri joked that this loop sounded like such a music store soundscape. But really, it’s an epic, multi-layered funk jam. And the groove is off the charts!
