Comment les Aztèques ont dominé la Mésoamérique avant de s’effondrer ?

Chaque région du monde a une histoire incroyable parsemée de ses propres civilisations, peuples et empires. L’Amérique ne déroge pas à la règle et, quand on pense à son histoire précoloniale, le premier sujet qui nous vient généralement en tête est celui des Aztèques, d’un grand empire mystérieux à l’histoire légendaire, aux sacrifices, aux temples et aux tenues typiques, tout une civilisation qui s’est effondrée en bien peu de temps après le passage des conquistadors espagnols. Pourtant, la plupart d’entre nous connaissent en réalité plutôt mal cette histoire, au-delà de ces quelques clichés. Je vous propose donc aujourd’hui de l’explorer rapidement avec moi, d’en apprendre plus sur la naissance, l’expansion et la chute de l’Empire Aztèque.
