President of the United Arab Emirates Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan pays an official visit to Moscow and meets with Russian President Vladimir Putin on Monday, October 21. The heads of state are meeting on the eve of the BRICS summit in Kazan. The bilateral talks are expected to focus on the development of Russian-Emirati co-operation, as well as topical issues on the international agenda, including the situation in the Middle East. The BRICS Heads of State Summit is the key event of Russia’s chairmanship in 2024 and takes place in Kazan from October 22-24.
