Jethro Tull “Cross Eyed Mary“ Live @ Capital Center 1977

The incomparable Ian Anderson music machine rolls into town in grand style. Hope you enjoy this fantastically restored 1977 sound and footage. While never having the greatest light show in the business, Ian Anderson makes up for that with his superb humor and theatrics, and of course his performance skills. You have to admire his style, in spite of its dark and prickly nature. It’s really funny how he harasses the other musicians as they play solos. And quite original how Ian sings and plays flute at the same time in harmony.... It’s not that hard to do if you can do both individually. Actual information about this performance: Musicians: Ian Anderson – vocals, flute, acoustic guitar, mandolin, cymbals, whistles Martin Barre – electric guitar, lute John Evan – piano, organ, synthesisers David Palmer – piano, portative pipe organ, synthesisers John Glascock – bass guitar, vocals Barriemore Barlow – drums, marimba, glockenspiel, bells, nakers, tabor Recorded: Nov 21, 1977 (Capital Centre, Landover, Maryland, US) Thank you and please show your support by voting thumbs up and subscribing to my @digitalguru2054 channel!
