The Alliance for Democracy & Freedom (Dr Tech Khong)

The tribe of Leicestershire proudly presents Dr Tech Khong, who delivered a captivating speech at the Haymarket Memorial Clock Tower. Khong’s speech addresses the problems of a broken system, lack of care for the people, decline in the health service, and the issue of covid-19 vaccinations for young individuals. Dr Khong qualified in medicine from Sheffield University, holds a Master of Laws from Cardiff University and was awarded Membership of the Faculty of Forensic and Legal Medicine, Royal College of Physicians. After specialist training in Leeds and Glasgow where he was a Pfizer clinical research fellow, he entered General Practice as a GP Principal in Leicester in 1982. In addition to being a GP since 1982, he was also a Police Surgeon to the Leicestershire Constabulary from 1984 to 2005. Teck was also senior police surgeon with Leicestershire Constabulary and a forensic physician for Northamptonshire Police. He served on a number of committees and advisory panels in both medicine and politics. From 2011 to 2015, Dr Khong served on the Governing Body of NHS Leicester City Clinical Commissioning Group, with lead roles in Safeguarding Adults, Safeguarding Children, Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS), Family, Young People & Children (FYPC) and the Serious Incidents Review Panel. In 2015, he was elected a councillor for Oadby and Wigston Borough Council, Leicestershire. He stood in the General Elections of 2005 and 2017, representing, respectively, the Conservative Party and UKIP. He fought the 2019 General Election as an Independent Brexit candidate. The Alliance for Democracy and Freedom is the only British Political Party lead by a medical professional - someone who knows the issues we face within (and outside of) the NHS, and how badly this needs reforming. He is also experienced and knowledgeable in terms of clinical research, understanding the exact issues brought about within the years of Covid 19. Dr Teck Khong now leads the ADF Party, to bring about the changes we so desperately need in the United Kingdom.
