Robin Scott - The Bride of Fortune

Robin Scott filmed this video of Vivienne’s 1985 Spring/Summer collection featuring the ‘Mini Crini’, which combined the construction of the Victorian crinoline with the modern mini-skirt. The bell-like skirt offered a cheeky reworking of one of the 19th-century’s most famous garments, and became one of Westwood’s most iconic looks. Vivienne also wrote lyrics on this theme, married together with the musically familiar ‘Stripper’ by David Rose. Vivienne and Robin arranged and produced a recording titled ‘The Bride Of Fortune’ with Robin on vocals.
