Final game of the 2001 calender year and Middlesbrough play The Arse at Highbury with the home team looking for revenge following the 0-3 defeat the previous season. They got it but had to come from behind after Sol Campbell gifted Noel Whelan the opening goal. Robert Pires scored The Arses equaliser with a dipping 20 yard volley (what a brilliant player Pires was) and Ashley Cole showed just why he was worth the extra £2k or whatever it was by inexplicably scoring with a header to give The Arse The Win.
