U.S. Fears Putin’s Fury? White House Tries To Save Face After Kyiv Admits Attacking Moscow

The U.S. has distanced itself after Ukraine admitted to attacking Moscow with drones on July 24. The White House said that the U.S. doesn’t back any Ukrainian attacks on Russian territory. It however, added that Crimea was a part of Ukraine. The comments came a day after Ukraine sent two drones to Moscow and 17 drones to Crimea. No casualties were reported in both the attacks but the drones dealt significant damage to infrastructure. Russia warned of retaliation after AFP reported that Ukraine’s military intelligence (GUR) had taken responsibility of the Moscow attack.
